But I would think one's hgb and hct would be high as well and mine has always been normal. It makes sense though, that if you remove some of the iron through the blood, the overload will migrate from the brain to fill the body's new need for iron. They're based on averages of other people, some with high numbers others with low. I was tested for TSH and my numbers fell within normal range but I still had hypothyroid symptoms. A test panel will give you a personal view to compare with other physical issues. If you want to do CCSVI and can't get to a doctor for Doppler screening then this iron panel might be a more affdordable, less invasive way to find out if you even qualify for the proceedure.
