Guest guest
Normally my neuros have been ordering MRIs every 3 months or at every relapse but we decided to go a full 13 months and keep me on copaxone. My monster relapse did leave me with many progressive symptoms primarily from waist to head but my legs are much better except for spasticity. The only lesions that show up are the ones from 2007 in the periventricular white matter and the left mesial temporal lobe. These were the new lesions seen in July 2007 at the time of the monster relapse and they were new at the time. Are old lesions seen in all the multitude of MRIs I had starting in 2004 just disappearing. Do they not turn into plaques or scars. They aren't even mentioned in this MRI.It was the same in July of 2007 where they only mentioned the new lesions and said they saw no other lesions or scars. Do they usually report those or did they disappear in thin area? I am suffering from too much malnutrition, inability to swallow much of anything, and badly need calories..I need to get this situation stable before I try cleaning out specific areas (liver, kidneys etc..). I am 35 lbs under weight right now.GI doc wants to admit me to larger hospital tonight or tomorrow and put feeding tube in to help supplement liquids, foods when my swallowing and fatigue worsens and to let my stomach heal. This type of feeding tube bypasses certain areas G/J tube to help in this area. Thanks
