Guest guest
Hi, Question: Why not drink some coffee or tea occasionally? Answer: Because it can cause an ulcer in your new stomach. And you really do not want an ulcer in your new stomach. Ask someone who has one.... RR Rutledge, M.D., F.A.C.S. The Center for Laparoscopic Obesity Surgery 4301 Ben lin Blvd. P. O. Guest guest
Dr R, Does this apply to decaf coffee and decaf tea as well? Causing ulcers? Is it the caffeine or other substances in coffee and tea or is it both? I do occasionally have a cup of decaf (My Sunday morning treat!) Thanks,
Guest guest
Hello! Ulcer or coffee? Coffee or ulcer?? which part of that isn't clear? You can have all the coffee you want, whenever you want...as long as you understand what it will eventually do to you, your new tummy, and your immune system.
