Guest guest
Hi Debs - So sorry to hear you were in the hospital once again! I don't want to scare you, but I have to ask - have you ever been checked for inflammatory breast cancer? When you mentioned that your breast was bright red, swollen and hot, it sent off alarms in my head. I pray this is not the case and I pray you are well again soon. Take care... God Bless you..... Doreen I just got out of the hospital two weeks ago and 1 week of in home IV antibiotics for cellulitis of my left breast. The breast was bright red, hot and HUGE. The joke while I was in the ER was " how long have you this was the third time I have had cellulitis on the left side of my body. The infectious disease has no clue, just treats them as they occur. I have finished the antibiotics at home and still feel awful. My hemoglobin started dropping while in the hospital, so back on the IV iron. I feel so weak and blah. During all this, my husband who worked for the County, had his position eliminated. He is 66 years old but was not ready to retire for another 3 years. So right now, he is looking for contract work and now we have to find Medicare supplement and himself, me and our daughter (she is autistic). We will have to find a single policy for my youngest daughter (she's my care taker). My husband is fighting depression at this time so I feel at times that I am tap dancing on my forehead. My breast is still painful, but I don't think swollen. When it rains it pours!!!!!! It is still summer (98 degrees during the day and 80's during the night) here in Florida. I know y'all woke up to cold temperatures and some snow, that is one thing I don't miss from Chicago!. Stay warm and pain free my dear friends!!! Gentle, tender, angel hugs Debs in FL
Guest guest
Doreen, I too thought of that possibility when my breast got so red and swollen. My Mom p;assed away from breast cancer. They could not get a mammogram because of the intense pain I was in. Things have quieted down. No explanation...very frustrating. Hope all is well with you. Gentle tender angel hugs.............
