Xharon,

You need to see an ophthalmologist. An Optometrist can fit you with

glasses, but might not be able to diagnose your eye problems.

I would also call my rheumy; if he feels you should see an

ophthalmologist, maybe his referral could get you in more quickly.

My son was diagnosed with the markers for AIED, autoimmune inner ear disease,

frankly I didn't even know this exists. If his hearing starts to diminish at

all, I am to get him to his ENT doc asap so they can start him on drugs right

away. I'm just hoping this never happens, he has the markers but not the

disease yet.

More annoying than anything else, but for the last month or so my left eye

muscles have been really spastic. Mostly only mildly so you can't really notice

it (when looking) but quite often the top eyelid will quite dramatically spasm

(I'm talking 10-20 times an hour). area around eye feels kinda tense/numb (hard

to describe). Only my left eye, right eye is hanky dory.

having some vision probs (left eye only agin), bit blurry & kind of a

I had vision problems while on Plaquenil. I went off the med, and the problems

stopped. One of the side effects was blurry vision. Have you let your rheumy

know about the problem? I hope you are able to see the eye doc soon.
