Guest guest
I had my third Remicade infusion yesterday. The good news is that the person who took me back to the room let me go into a smaller room so I didn't have to listen to the music the nurse likes and I hate. A few hours after the infusion, my knees became stiff and feel swollen. I can't think of anything I've done that would have hurt my knees. My shoulder seems worse than usual also, but that does come and go normally. It could be a coincidence, but I wondered if it had happened to anyone else. I felt fine after the other two infusions. dd **************One site has it all. Your email accounts, your social networks, and the things you love. Guest guest
- are you still on Remicaide? I've been doing Enbrel for 7 weeks now and still am not feeling anything from it. <sigh> I wish SSD would hurry up with their decision on the hearing so I could get Medicare rolling and more options opened up to me.....Doreen , When I was first diagnosed I was on remicaide and it was GREAT!! I would feel so good after an infusion that I went for a run. I regretted the next day, and I had to learn to pase myself. I had no side effects from it and it helped me soo much. Guest guest
I am on Remicade. I get one Atarax and two tylenol before the infusion starts to help reduce side effects. Needless to say, I feel a little tired and sleepy from the Atarax. I have no other side effects. I feel less joint pain in about 24 hours. I get 600mg every six weeks. I hope you do well. Guest guest
Drink lots of water before your appointment, or the nurse may have a hard time getting the needle in. - > > Hello All, > I am getting ready to start remicade, (I hope) and I have read about all the side effects, but is there anything I should know about when I am actually getting the treatment? Any immediate issues? > Thanks > Heidi Hart >
Guest guest
Thanks for the input, I should find out today when i start. Of course all last week I was in rough shape, and now that I am going in to the Rheumy, my joints are returning to 'normal' Heidi -- PK
