Guest guest
tomorrow morning i will be going to my first neuro appointment that actually specializes in ms. i'm completely clueless about what medications to allow her to perscribe. in september i was hospitalized because of ms symptoms. the doctor thought it was the swine flu, and i thought i could tough it out at home. i went from being a pretty healthy 35 yr old to not being able to walk, feed myself soup, and even taking a breath was very difficult. by the time i arrived at the hospital, i had a heart rate of 140 and very high bp. within only hours, all feeling left my body. all the pain was gone, and at that point i could not feel myself breathing. i felt that those would be my final breaths. my throat had the same feeling as the numbness you have after a dentist numbs your mouth. i still have much of the numbness throughout and most of the pain, and am quite terrified to relive that episode. i would so appreciate anyone who could advise me in the direction of meds before tomorrow morning. i have read about the ldn, but can't see how it stops the progression. thank you so much in advance, triva
Guest guest
Hi Trivia, do some research on anything that the doctor prescribes before you decide whether or not to take it. The people in this group don't take the drugs but the decision is up to you. I'm sorry that you have had such a rough time. > > tomorrow morning i will be going to my first neuro appointment that actually specializes in ms. i'm completely clueless about what medications to allow her to perscribe. > triva >
Guest guest
Thank you allison for the advice. From everything I'm reading online, it sounds like LDN is something I should at least continue to research. Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry® Re: medication help??
