Taking Methotrexate?Are the side effects worth it? Does it work?

I am on Methotrexate 6 pills a week. I can tell you my side effects are minimal

like thinning hair, nauseous day after and fatigue daily. The only BIG side

effect I see is that I am very moody and sensitive lately. I will take these

side effects anytime in exchange for pain free days. Everybody is different and

only you can tell what works for you. After several cocktails of meds I am now

on Retuxzin infusions with the Methotrexate. My Rheumy stated his goal for now

is to keep me pain free and hopefully get me back to work by next year. My SED

rate is very high from 139 to 109 and will continue to work with me until I feel

comfortable. My Rheumy is the best and God send.
