Hi Dee,

I really thought I was going nuts when I decided my image was scaring other

people too! I guess thats when I decided I'm certainly fat enough to look

into WLS. I'm so glad I found all of you.

Y'know Resa, that is a feeling that I don't wish upon anyone.. it's so

great that we can all be so honest here, and share so many of these hurtful

and sometimes traumatic feelings,... but I also read posts and think " Oh I

wish that person didn't have to go through that " as if I'm not going through

the exact same thing. I do believe that being this over-weight makes us so

much more compassionate and empathetic for others. That is one benefit that

we all share. I know that I am a better person for what I've gone through...

but what a rough road to get there.

I can't wait til we're having these conversations POST surgery!!! We will

be there Resa.. and we will start loving who we are in that mirror!!
