Hi ,

I did the Enbrel shots for 3 years and never had that happen to me. Tired..

yes but none of the others. Are you taking other meds along with the shots?

Is anyone thaking the Enbrl shots noticed negative mood changes? I have

done 5 shots now and am noticing how irritable, tired, maybe depressed,

impatient, etc. I am now. Is this one of the possible side effects? Thank

you-

Hi,

I've not noticed any mood changes. You might want to tell your Dr. about

them. Good Luck. Do they

make you feel better pain wise?

I go see the Rheumy early June and will talk with him about this. He had at

first wanted me to do the Humara (sp?). But I was scared at the longevity of

the shots. I think that I will take this week off from the Enbrel and see if my

mood improves. I have noticed a lot less swelling of my hands and fingers. I

can actually type of sew without spending 2 days wearing a heating pad and

crying! :) I do still have a tingling, numbness that makes my fingers clumsy.

No change on hip pain. But, hey! I still get up each morning! The kids need

to be taken of. ;) Thank you-

It could be the Enbrel or maybe a combination of the other meds with it. I

agree with Heidi. You should tell your Rheumy about it.

How long have you been taking it? Do you dose once or twice a week? What you are

experiencing may only be temporary and may get better as time goes on.

PLEASE consult your doctor before making ANY changes.

In my experience with Enbrel and what my Rheumy had told me before I had gastric

bypass surgery, the enbrel will stay in your system for about 4 weeks when you

stop taking it,if you have been taking it for sometime now, so I dont' know if 1

week would really make a difference so I agree with Kami,, call your Dr. before

you stop it for a week.
