Guest guest
> My symptoms were quite gradual; mainly extreme fatigue at first--was told it was depression, early menopause( had high estogen and normal periods),stress, hypothyroidism, etc etc. Knee pain came next--which was blamed on running I had been doing for 22 yrs. Then index finger pain, generally feeling flu-like all the time, neck pain. ; then migratory wierd pain---one day my knee would be so bad i couldn't go to work, 2 days later that would be completely gone and it would be one elbow, then the opposite shoulder. this went on for 2 years before my new PCP had an aunt who had just been diagnosed with RA after the same type of symptoms--she did Rheum factor and anti-CCP---both very high. Long post, but just shows how differently RA can present in each of us. Louise Oh yeah, I have never had any swelling-- " just " pain.
