Oh yeah, to clarify, I was asking everyone in this group if their sx were

gradual or sudden when they first were dx!

When RA struck me, it hit me very hard and fast.  Hope you don't have it.

My symptoms started gradually. Started in my knees then my feet swelled so much

it was hard to wear shoes. Within four weeks every joint was swollen and pained.

Hi Group:

Wow, what a commute to work, the snow is up to the hips, thank god it was there,

cause I fell on my knees right into it - Laughing!!!

Anyways my RA came on gradually too, starting with a burning in my thigh bones,

and me complaining to my endocrinologist for one year about this burning pain,

and her checking me until one day she asked a Rheumy friend about me and he had

her take many RA tests and eureka! I wish she had referred me sooner, because I

endured alot of discomfort and pain until I found out.
