Hi anyone who can help me,I've literally just come down with a lower bladder

infection and it's 11.00 on a Sunday night. I've just drunk 3 pints of water +

and I had some bicarbonate of soda which has helped with pain. My neuro told me

that if this ever happened I was to take antibiotics immediately. Do Ireally

need to? I'm going to go to bed now and I'm hoping that by tomorrow morning

someone will have sent me some advice. I really don't want to take antibiotics.

I know about D-Mannose but I don't have any. Should I rush to buy some tomorrow

morning or rush to my GP?This has all happened because I didn't drink very much

water today. I learn lessons the hard way.Thankyou, Audrey

What knocks a bladder infection in its tracks is cayenne tincture, it has worked

from time and time again with many. But you want a strong cayenne tincture or

any HOT pepper will do too.

Have a Happy and Healthy Day,

Hi Audrey,

Sorry for the late reply, I hope you have found some relief by now! I

just wanted to add to the cranberry juice recommendation. Make sure

you get 100% cranberry, i.e. the really tart stuff. Drink as much as

you can possibly stand, then hold your bladder for as long as you can

possibly stand, for maximum effect. :)

Hello,

If you have a health food store near you stop in and ask about cranberry

capsules.  It can really help.  Ask questions about the all natural juice.  You

can even find it in your local grocery store but you have to read labels to find

the right one.  It has to be a all natural no sugar added juice.  It can even

have more than one fruit but it has to have cranberry in it.

Best wishes,

H.

Hello Audrey,

A lot of times the bacteria is so bad that it does need help to get under

control.  You can always take pro-biotics as well to counter act the effects and

add the good bacteria to your system.  Continue to drink good water as much as

possible to flush out the system.  Good luck and feel better.  H.

I second the colloidal silver suggestion. The other day, I started

experiencing buring each time I went P. I drank some colloidal silver,

and the VERY next time I went P, there was NO buring, and it hasn't

come back.

I hope you can get relief soon.

I am taking some cranberry capsules that I got online through Puritan's

Pride. I have such a hard time walking and with fatigue (when I do)

that I don't go to the health food store. I buy all of our vitamins

from them. They often have buy 1 get one free (or buy 2 get 3) or deals

on shipping fees, in the U.S.

I've used them for several years for both my and my husband's

suppliments. They have their own brand (also) that is made in the U.S.

I even discovered some naturopathic allergy drops for him that have

helped him from their catalog.

(Sorry, I went back and added the " in the U.S. " because I forget there

are many folks from outside the U.S. in the group).

D-mannose works and it's really safe. It has worked great for my

daughter and me. http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails.aspx?

I joined Iherbs rewards program -- if you use my referral code of

ROT043 you get $5 off your order. If you order over $60 (easy to

do!) it's free shipping. This is also where I order Vitamin D3 2400IU

per tiny pea sized capsule. My Vit D level was the first thing my Dr

checked when she suspected MS. It was low after years of taking

supplements with 400% RDA of Vit D. After taking 2 per day for

several months I finally got my Vit D level to budge.

Here's a great explanation on D-mannose.

I was reading about CS on the web, the Mayo site says:

" The Food and Drug Administration does not consider colloidal silver

safe or effective to treat any disease or condition. Taking colloidal

silver could have serious side effects, such as:

Argyria — an irreversible blue-gray discoloration of your skin, nails

and gums

Seizures and other neurological problems

Kidney damage

Indigestion

Headaches

Fatigue

Skin irritation

Drug interactions with penicillamine, quinolones, tetracycline and

thyroxine medications "

I was thinking about ordering some on my next vitamin order and now

I'm not sure. The side effects sound pretty frightening.
