Guest guest
Hi Pamela, I realized that 1000mg = 1 gram. So since Lydia takes 6mg per day in divided doses of 2mg 3x per day, that would mean we shoud take 1 serving of the 2000 mg three times per day to get the equivalent. However, I am still not sure of what the difference is between L- Threonine and Threonine. Did you start taking it yet? I wonder how long it takes to see if it makes any difference. > > Hi all, > > I have already bought the L-Threonine powder from Carlson's lab but didn't notice the 2000mg serving..... is there any oher kind of threonine? > Pamela Castro Carcelen >
Guest guest
people who are taking L-threonine, keep us posted! i have horrendous spasticity and would appreciate anything to help me out with that, but i also have about two shelves of expensive, unused supplements and have vowed not to buy anything new until at least half of them get used up. so my ears are perked for yeas or nays. aviva

Guest guest
Hi Aviva, I feel the same way as you. I have spent many thousands of dollars on supplements and so far I don't think any have helped me, so I have been reluctant to buy more. However, my leg stiffness drives me nuts, so since Lydia has posted that she has had a good experience with the Threonine (as well as posting a study about it helping), I decided to try it. I ordered two bottles on-line yesterday, through Carlson's brand on iherb. They should be here shortly and I am going to take the same dose that is working for Lydia--6 grams per day in divided doses--2grams 3x per day. I will let you and the group know if it helps. > > people who are taking L-threonine, keep us posted! > i have horrendous spasticity and would appreciate anything to help me out with that, but i also have about two shelves of expensive, unused supplements and have vowed not to buy

Guest guest
Hi , Threonine is an amino acid. It can be purshed on the Internet or your local health food store.
