The house is smoke free also. Everyone not smoking as much since they have to go outside to smoke. Everyone have a Merry Christmas. My daughter is having Christmas dinner. I love them big dinners. Guest guest
Hello Clora: Just got back from a week with a dear friend of mine. I am so happy to read your tried not smoking again, and are successful! Congratulations, and I am happy that you can breathe easier. Such a wonderful gift to yourself. I thought a lot about you last week, and hoped that things were going good for you. I hope your cough is minor, and doesn't develop into anything serious. I am glad you are calling your dr. and hope you get an appt. soon. Don't let it go. You don't want to be sick when Santa arrives at your house. Take care of yourself, and talk soon. Wishing you better days ahead, and painfree days. God Bless you. Hugs, Barbara > > Doreen and group; > > Yes indeed smoke free. I made 2 appointments with the doc than > canceled them both. Guest guest
Barbara and group; Hi barbara, It's so good to hear from you. I am happy to hear you spent a week with one of your friends. It's times like these a friend is nice to have around. Yes ty for the congrats. I am still sick cough cough. This nasty cold giving me a hard way to go. It don't feel like a gift to myself right now but I kknow it will in a few weeks. I think the reason my cough is so bad is cause I quit smoking and this has agitated my lungs. Maybe a lot of stuff is clearing out of my lungs, know what I mean. Twelve more days before Christmas. Everyone should be ready by now. We do have those procrastenators. I am sure that is spelled wrong but I think you know what I mean. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and wishing you have a wonerful New Year beginning. gentle hugs Clora ********************************************************* > Hello Clora: > > Just got back from a week with a dear friend of mine. > > I am so happy to read your tried not smoking again, and are successful! > Congratulations, and I am happy that you can breathe easier. Guest guest
Hi Clora: Nice to get your post today. I sure hope your cold and cough starts to ease up for you. Coughing is so wearing. I am happy that you are still not smoking. Like I said before, a great gift to yourself. Things are still very difficult here. I do believe my hubby will leave me, and our 27 years of marriage. I also believe it is due to my RA, and he can't ( won't) deal with it. I took my marriage vows very seriously, and I guess he doesn't. My heart is truly broken, and I am having a very hard time dealing with all this hurt. I do know you can't make someone stay against their will. I still find it hard that all this is happening to me. I am soooooo looking forward to Christmas!!! It is my favorite time of the year. I put my tree up, and all my country Christmas decorations around the house. I have my tree lit all day long!!!! My son has been here, staying with me for a month now. He and the family are moving here to North Port. They just sold the house in N.H., so they will all be here by the end of January. He came early because he got a great job offer here, and he is thrilled with the job and the people he works with. I am so thankful everyday that he is here with me. I don't know how I would be getting through each day without him here. He is a rock for me. I know a lot of your cough is your lungs trying to clear out all that junk, etc. You will be feeling much better real soon. Take care, and God Bless you. Wishing you pain free days. Hugs, Barbara > > > > > > Doreen and group; > > > > > > Yes indeed smoke free. I made 2 appointments with the doc than > > > canceled them both. Coughing is not as bad. Guest guest
Hi Clora: Thanks for your loving, supportive, compassionate letter. I can't imagine how awful you felt going through all that, plus being pregnant. What a terrible thing to do to you, especially at that time. I am doing o.k., just taking things slow, and one day at a time. What other options do I really have. I am going forward, drawing my strength from myself, my loving family, and loving friends. I will be glad when all this is over, then I can begin to heal, and go forward with my life. Time does heal all wounds. I hope your cough is getting better, and that you will feel much better soon. I am thrilled you aren't smoking. Quite a victory, and I know it is a hard battle. I am so proud of you. Keep up your good work. I want to wish you and your family a special Merry Christmas. You are so loving, and very kind. Always in my thoughts and prayers. Love and hugs, Barbara > > > > > > > > Doreen and group; > > > > > > > > Yes indeed smoke free. Guest guest
Barbara and group; Awe your so welcome Barbara. We all seem to feel for each other. It was so very hard to get through it but like you said one day at a time. I just wanted to let you know I know how you feel and I am here for you. My cough is much better. I made an appointment to see my doctor about this cold. I also need to see him about my c-pap, he had them turn it down to low. I can hardly breath with the mask on. My migrains are not so intense anymore. I was in agony with migraines since he had the c-pap lowered they are much better. It is hard quit smoking but I have no choice in the matter. I couldnt breathe anymore. I am breathing better since I quit smoking. You will be ok Barbara. I can tell by how you talk in your text. Drawing strenth from your family is the best thing to do. Thats what I did through my divorce. I am glad your keeping busy with your family. God bless and take care..........................Clora *************************************************************** > > Hi Clora: > > Thanks for your loving, supportive, compassionate letter. Guest guest
Clora - I am so happy to hear you can feel the benefits of quitting smoking. That is such a huge motivator to stay quit. I wish you all the best. I had a thought regarding your CPAP and Migraines. Have your doctors considered a BiPAP instead? Instead of having the continuous pressure, the pressure is up for inhaling and then drops down for exhaling. I pray you are able to figure out why this cough is lingering. Perhaps you need an antibiotic. Keep us posted. We all care. Doreen > > Barbara and group; > > Awe your so welcome Barbara. Guest guest
Doreen and group; Thanks Doreen. I feel a lot better since I quit and it's getting a lot easier now doing with out a ciggy. At first I though I was going crazy. But I had no choice to quit, I couldnt breathe. The migrains have stopped. Doctor said my breathing wasnt from the c- pap but from the infection I had. So I am trying the one I got now. Maybe down the line I will ask aobut a Bi-pap. Never heard of it but something to consider. I am feeling better but still much weak. You know how these colds go. cough cough not as bad. He gave me some potent cough syrup. Take care and May God bless you and take care of you. gentle hugs Clora ************************************************************ > Clora - I am so happy to hear you can feel the benefits of quitting > smoking.
