Guest guest
I can't say for sure regarding an infrared sauna since we don't have one but the concept makes perfect sense to me. We have a hot tub set at 102 degrees in the summer and 99 in the winter. The heat works wonders for my RA. We are looking at an Infrared heat system for the farm shop and knowing how that works, well, a sauna equipped with it makes a lot of sense both heat and money-wise. If I had room for it and the money for it I'd seriously try for one if we didn't already have the hot tub. Logic tells me that heat ought to make my joint swelling hurt worse but personal experience from our wonderful hot tub overrides the logic. I spend roughly 15 to 20 minutes in the tub and come out more relaxed and my joints ache less to the point that I'm able to get to sleep a lot easier on the night when I can get in the tub. I'm 1.5 weeks past cervical-fusion surgery and can't get in the hot tub right now and, boy oh boy, can I ever tell. My husband and I recently saw one and he would like to get me one but we are not sure if we are just getting a sales pitch or if it really will help. Thanks for your input. > Darnell >
