Guest guest
Vicki, please try to keep that frigid weather in Iowa. Here in North Carolina, our temperature tomorrow night is supposed to be 14, and then 11 the next night. That is plenty cold for me! Guest guest
Here in St. , it's supposed to get to -19F (that's WITHOUT the windchill) tonight. I am staying in, although I did go out this morning - only -4F then. South Pasadena, CA / Lilydale, MN You can see my galleries at http://www.pbase.com/arenared986 M. Schulz - " All you need is love. Guest guest
Believe it or not, I feel better at these temps than I do in California with the rain in the winter . . . the damp there, even at 50F, goes right through my bones! I was out for a while both yesterday and today, and I was cold but able to move pretty freely. That's one reason I've become a " reverse snowbird " , even if it does sound really strange. (My grandkids are the other reason - just can't miss Christmas and birthdays. That's how I originally figured out I did better here in the winter, CA in the summer.) It must be the humidity, it's really dry when it's this cold. South Pasadena, CA / Lilydale, MN You can see my galleries at http://www.pbase.com/arenared986 M. Schulz - " All you need is love. Guest guest
Is -23 this morning without the wind chill, with the wind chill is -39. So far I am having an ok day though as far as pain and stiffness. Cannot say the same for my van. It just not want to start this morning. Fist time all winter. Could be lots worse though. This I can deal with. Off to work as soon as the charger does its job. Wishing you all a day as painless as possible.
