I was not bedridden and was granted SSDI (was approved 8 weeks after applying).

I have assisted multiple people in applying….one important issue that most do

not realize is that if you are going to your physician once every 3-4

months…..(prior to approval) you most likely will not be approved….(I am not

speaking of seeing the same doc all the time….but any doctor visit…)there is

a cap on the amount the lawyer will collect.

See that's why I haven't even tried for disability. My husband asked me why

I didn't try to get it till they could finally find a med combo that would

work for me. The issue is that because I have been a stay at home mom for 12

years now I won't qualify due to the work credit thing. I guess I waited too

long to finally try to go back to work.

i would like to remind people that when applying for ssdi that u have to

have recent work credits. My denal letter said i did not have enuff recent

work credits. so dont wasit to long after u start missing work or cant find

a job that u cna do
