There are no absolute standards for the various rheumatologic tests.

The cutoff for normal depends on the lab.

If the results are expressed as a ratio like 1:60, then a titer was

performed. Maybe your test was for IgG RF?

Hi - This post is for a friend of mine who has a son (12 years old) that has

chronic mono. He has missed over 4 months of school this year alone. His Dr.

and a disease control M.D. have prety much tossed their hands up. The kid keeps

getting sick and she is so worried. Trying to understans the few numbers that

she has on him. Thank you-

Sorry to hear that, . I would take him to a very good

children's hospital or to s Hopkins or Mayo in MN.
