Work Accommodations?

Has anyone in the group had to request special accommodations due to their RA?

My employer has just developed a policy related to non-work related illnesses

and injuries which outlines the need for accommodations such as crutches, canes,

special equipment, etc. I have a lot of trouble with my hips and must use a cane

periodically and splints on my hands when working on the computer. Maybe this

type of thing is covered under the ADA? Any advice or experiences that you can

share would be appreciated.
