Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who emailed me onlist, and offlist about my weird swelling. I woke up this morning with so much swelling around my neck that I can barely move my head. My daughter reminded me this morning that her best friend has mono, and that's how hers started. I don't know if I've ever had the Epstein Barr Virus or not... I know my cousin had it when I was a kid, so it's likely I got EBV and didnt' know it. I'm wondering if I'm more susceptible to EBV since I have MS. I do know that some researchers have found the most people with MS have antibodies to the EBV. but hen again, something like 90% of all adults have had EBV at some point in their lives. Either way, we think I might have mono. I won't be able to go to the dr for lab work until the end of this week. Yvettte -- Yvette Freelance Writer Freelance Editor atlanteanproductions@... Guest guest
Yvette, I just recently read that numerous studies confirm that most people who have MS have had EB at some point in their lives. I wonder if this is a new manifestation of an old problem for you? K I don't know if I've ever had the Epstein Barr Virus or not...
