Guest guest
Hi OKD, I have online access to my test results so I looked up those two tests and according to my information standard range for SED Rate is 0 - 30 and C-Reactive protein is <8.0. I'm a newbie at this so not sure that the test standard doesn't depend on where it's sent to be evaluated, but I hope this information is at least a little helpful. Others on this list know way more than I do, I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes. I'm so sorry you're having such a bad time right now and I definitely want in on shoving RA up that viruses butt! :-) PJ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of OKD Sent: Thursday, December 09, 2010 9:44 AM Subject: [ ] C-RP, Sed Rates Hi Group: So recently I was hospitalized with a pleurisy and 2 blot clots in my chest, during that time I found out my CRP was 80 and my Sed Rate was 39 (which is probably par for the course given my emergent dilemma). My Rheumy says my baseline Sed Rate is 36, which means I am inflammed off and on still and thats the lowest average. Come to find out normal C-Reactive Protein levels are much much lower, and sed rate is supposed to be like 13. What is normal for these two tests? Given my THREE breakthrus in 1-1/2 yrs of Enbrel, she is considering giving me more than 1 shot per week, or changing me to HUMIRA. I dont know if I want to change, I dont know. I will find out in two more months, she wants my body to calm down from recent events to make a judgement, I HATE RA, I WANT TO GIVE IT BACK AND SHOVE IT UP THE BUTT OF WHATEVER VIRUS GAVE ME THIS!!!!! - Sorry needed to write-vent that - L0L:))
Guest guest
I always get a copy of my results, and it tells the normal range of each test.
