To, Jw_Todd, keep your chin up. My 28 y/o son was diagnosed with tm a little over 7 months ago and he's recovering. Doesn't use the wheel chair anymore...And, he's starting to walk around without the walker...The next step for him is to get this braces off that he has from the knee down..We're all very encouraged with his progress...He's in a pt program twice a week...They really know what they are doing and he's getting results...Do all you can to stay as active as possible and seek out pt people who know what they are doing....Duncan, Maine

Hello all...

I just found this group and thought I should introduce myself. Myname is Jim, 38, from Ontario, Canada.I'm kind of experiencing a double whammy here. I was diagnosed withtransverse myelitis last July and am now having to move around ina wheelchair. How much I'll be able to recover is still up in theair. And that recovery is hampered by some sort of middle-ear problemthat's causing dizziness and nausea. I'm waiting for an appointmentwith an ear/nose/throat specialist to see what's going on there, butI'm worried that it could be Meniere's Disease.Anyway, I'm glad I found this little group, and also that some of youhere are also dealing with TM. It helps to know that I'm not alone indealing with it.Thank you for being here,Jim

Hello again...

Just a quick update. My appointment with the ENT is this afternoon.

I'm expecting to be subjected to a number of tests, because I

understand there are a number of conditions/ailments that exhibit

similar symptoms to those I'm experiencing. Hopefully they'll

determine what's going on in my middle ear, and we can come up with

something to correct it.

Meanwhile, the vertigo and dizziness continues to be troublesome. I

simply haven't felt well enough to go anywhere the past few weeks. In

fact, I'm concerned about feeling well enough to go to the

appointment. But I must go, no matter what.

Wish me luck,

Jim

Hi ,

I'm glad to see you back on the list. Please come back often and we

can all encourage each other.

The lists have been quite slow and it would be great to see some old

friends post when they can.

Take care!

Well greetings everyone...

I've been gone a while...I have not been doing my lifelift as " well "

as I should...At least not with the resolve to drop weight. I do the

breaths...but not regularly enough I think.

I read some testimonials today and i am going to make more effort...i

will get my 20 minutes a day in...I will aim for MORE...

And the water...I can do that.

I will check in more often as I want some encouragement that this

really works and I don't have to DIET again in my lifetime.

I have been using the affirmations and they have helped me get a good

night's sleep and I am working with the self image.

I just finished 20 minutes of lifelift. I AM SO HOT...I feel like I

ran a marathon. so my 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there wasn't

cutting it.

Where are the " tips " in the newsletters. I remember there was one

newsletter that listed a number of tips.

drink your water,

20 minutes of LL a day...40 breaths...

don't skip meals...

what else?

Love to everyone...

I do remember you all..

By the way, Gustav put me out of my home for 2 weeks but i am back

home again.

Hi All,

it was good to see your message. I don't know if we have " met " yet.

I've belonged to this group for awhile but don't post too much. Like

Connie, I am trying to get back into the LL habit and also having a hard

time. I was away last week and thought for sure I would do my LL but I

was not consistant. I was very faithful with my physical exercise

program but for some reason, LL is hard for me. I don't mean hard to do

just hard for me to get myself to do it. :-{ I should make myself

do the 40 first thing in the morning and then anything else is a bonus.

, how is . I was sorry to read that he was hurt. You all are

in my prayers.

have a good evening.

Chris

Hi Friends:

I'm sorry I've been quite for so long, but my family and I got hit

with a major virus that knocked us all for a loop! I'm only now

just starting to feel a bit like my old self, but I've really been

off the LifeLift wagon; I need to get back on track FAST before the

Holidays interfere with any progress I've made.

I have kept off that dress size and lost a few inches here and

there, but not nearly as much as I'd like, mostly because I haven't

been doing much to get there...I really need the love, help, and

support that I know this lovely list can offer.

Rashelle, I hope you and your family are doing OK...I think about

you all the time, and pray fo you.

I'll be ordering a bunch of stuff for the holidays; trying to get my

sister on board, as well as some friends from Church.

It's always nice to read the posts here; everyone is so full of hope!

Thanks for listening,

Love,

Helene

Hi Helene!

It is soo very wonderful to see a post from you. We're being hit

now with that horrid virus and it does take its' toll. I sure hope

you are all feeling yourselves very soon.

I love giving Lifelift products as Christmas gifts. The best gift is

the gift of love and health; and that's what we're giving when we

share Lifelift with others. : )

You are certainly right Helene; this is an amazing group of friends

here; we always feel at home here. This list has been very quiet.

It would be wonderful to see more posts and see how everyone is

doing. I miss this group.

Welcome back Helene and glad to see you!

Love, Wanda

My name is . I am 36 years old and live in Indiana now, as we

just moved here from Ohio. I was diagnosed with RA at age 12 and now

have been on pred for over 15 years, as I am allergic to every NSAID

out there. I do take plaquenil with my pred tho, although Im not sure

it helps much. I wanted to hear some suggestions from everyone about

meds. I NEEEEDDDD to get off the steroids! I feel lousy with them,

BUT even worse without, so I dont know what to do. Im really flaring

lately, and would love to hear about other treatment options from other

that have been there, instead of just a DR.

Thanks so much, God Bless, and Happy Holidays!

Enbrel works wonderfully well for me. I also take arthritis-strength

acetominophen. Have you considered one of the biologics, such as

Enbrel, Humira, Remicade, or Orencia?

Hi

Welcome to the group. I don't take steroids (yet) but I do take

Methotrexate and Humera. It seems to help me. I just went back on the MTX

because it had gotten to where it made me sick. I am not injecting it and it

does not hurt me. Maybe one of them could help you. Again welcome to the

group.
