Hi Tammy - I'm so sorry to hear of this jaw pain. I can't even begin to imagine!

I personally have not had this problem, but I've read of others here that have

have an RA flare in their jaw. Please call either your PC or your Rheumy. You

don't have to suffer in pain. Keep us posted. We care..... Doreen :)

I have had this horrible ache in the whole left side of my face for over a week

now. I am having a hard time trying to figure out if it is my RA now affecting

my jaw joint. It started as if my teeth were sensitive and has progressed to a

constant throbbing pain in my face. It feels like a horrid toothache in all of

my teeth on that side. I just had a dentist cleaning and exam so I am positive

I have no cavities there. Has anyone had the same type of pain in this area? I

really hope it is not arthritis because this is the worst pain I have had yet

and I hate to think it will continue for the long haul! Help anyone????? If not

arthritis what else could it be?

Tammy,

A sinus infection can cause your teeth to hurt.   ButTMJ can also cause you jaw

to hurt.  I don't remember my TMJ causing my teeth to hurt but it may.

You probably need to call your doctor.

Hope you find relief soon.
