Guest guest
I had it done and I felt worse before I felt better. I think it put some things in motion that had been stagnant. The cleansing effect was rough but it did improve. Hang in there and go slow with the treatment. I haven't done it in a long time. > > Hello , > What have your experiences been with accupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine like moxibustion and gua sha? > I had my first accupuncture treatment Monday and it seem to have made my MS worse! > Kate >
Guest guest
Hi Kate you wrote... > Hello , > What have your experiences been with accupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine like moxibustion and gua sha?................................... I have acupuncture every 3 weeks or there about and just feel an overall sense of strength from it (though my symptoms are more sensory than muscular) Moxa is fine but I know in the Uk they aren't allowed to practice Gua Sha any more, although I like the theory behind it, its difficult to carry out on yourself!! Acupuncture has come up as beneficial for me on the Scio (biofeedback) though I must try to remember to relax for the rest of the day and make the most of the healing rather than running(?) around shopping! My therapist who is a teacher was recommended by a friend who is studying so do try to go to someone who comes recommended or is reputable... (I was having no positive results with my first practitioner! so glad I changed) For me personally its difficult to pinpoint exactly 'how' it helps but after a 6 month assessment I had clearly made progress with extra strength and diminished symptoms. Guest guest
My husband is an acupuncturist from China. I truly believe that and the LDN has kept me running around as if I don't have MS. My husbands 1st comment when he read your post was to make sure you have a good acupuncturist. Then he said it may depend on the protocal that the Dr is doing. If your is good and educated, stick with it. > > Hello , > What have your experiences been with accupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine like moxibustion and gua sha? > I had my first accupuncture treatment Monday and it seem to have made my MS worse!Im have " seizures " in my legs and feet- toes drop down, foot curls, legs jerk. Guest guest
Hello, I know this is a bit awkward, but I noticed your name cluff on your e-mail and I have been looking for some of my relatives.. My grandmother who is passed away name was Margaret Cluff and my grandfather was Gilbert Latta Cluff. Are you any relation to them? They lived in Detroit, and also Warren Michigan. My mothers name was Beverly Cluff. Just wondered if you are one of my lost relatives. If you could drop me a note and let me know. Thank you. I also was wondering if anyone in my family tree had Multiple Sclerosis, as I am the only one that has it, that I know of. My daughter may be diagnosed with it and we were trying to figure out who else in the family may have it. Thank you for reading this Subject: Re: accupuncture To: mscured Date: Friday, April 16, 2010, 9:30 AM  Hi Kate you wrote... > Hello , > What have your experiences been with accupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine like moxibustion and gua sha?........ ......... ......... .........
