Guest guest
Betty, don't you have insurance? Medical insurance pays for cataract surgery; you don't need special vision insurance. Cataracts are much harder to remove if they've been there as long as yours must have been. Guest guest
I am glad you can still sew. I hope forever. Wish you well.  Hugs,  Barbara From: deulrich@... <deulrich@...> Subject: [ ] Re: RA and Crafts Date: Tuesday, January 11, 2011, 9:32 PM  I too am an avid quilter, and sew clothes and things for grandchildren. I have an embroidery machine/sewing machine and love to do embroidery for folks. I embellish wiht hotfix crystals, etc. My hands do better when kept active. There are times I get frustrated as my hands don't work quite as well as they used to, but I manage. It is my stress relief. I work about 50 hours a week. Guest guest
That's good that you have insurance, Betty. Yes, those co-pays can really add up. Thank goodness with my supplementary insurance I don't have to worry about that stupid doughnut hole. Under the new health care bill, I think it will eventually be done away with. I hope you can soon have your cataract surgery. After mine, I saw better than ever before. I don't need glasses for distance, but do for close vision. I wear my bifocals most all of the time because I'm so used to wearing glasses anyway.
