Guest guest
I wasn't sure how appropriate this was for the group but it does deal with chronic illnesses so I figure it might be a help to those who are having issues sexually. I found this on discoveryhealth.com the website is posted at the bottom of the page. Health Tip: Having Sex Despite Illness on 12/10/2008 (HealthDay News) -- People who have a chronic illness -- which may include heart disease, diabetes or asthma -- may have ongoing pain or fatigue that can hinder a healthy sex life. The American Academy of Family Physicians offers suggestions for how to enjoy sex, despite having a chronic illness: a.. Figure out what time of day you feel healthiest and most energized, and plan sex around those times. b.. Try to get plenty of rest, and make yourself feel as relaxed as possible. c.. Don't have sex within two hours of eating. d.. If you take pain medicine, take it at least 30 minutes before having sex. e.. Drink only limited amounts of alcohol, and don't use tobacco. Both can affect sexual performance. http://health.discovery.com/news/healthscout/article.html?article=621973 & categor\ y=24 & year=2008 _______________________________________ No viruses found in this outgoing message Scanned by iolo AntiVirus 1.5.3.5 http://www.iolo.com
