Guest guest
Betty, You have my sympathy. I ruined a lot of linens from the scratching and bleeding in my sleep. I was finally put on gambentin and my scratching is under control. It also helped with frequent awakening to urinate. I also take hydroxyzine hcl at night. It is in the benedryl family but more effective, Some nights I wear thumb braces and they help also. Good luck.... Guest guest
Hey Betty, I just started to get one of these nodules. I use something called Climb On! It's sold at the health food store here. It was originally developed for hikers, mountain climbers and the guys out in the oilfields of Alaska. It works like nothing else, probably because the tea tree oil helps 'numb' things a bit. I put it on at night and sometimes wear gloves and socks for awhile to help it soak in (And to keep from itching!) It's pricey here in TN though, like $13 a tube. Arbonne's hand cream and foot cream also helped me some, but the Climb On is the best thing I have found for the burning and itching. If it stops working, I will seriously consider using preparation H on my hands!!! Hope that helps G these knots that comes up on your knuckles ( noduals? ) , has anyone else had the itching and burning that comes along with it ?? when they first start to come on me, they will itch really bad. i have scratched my hands raw, in my sleep. was just wondering if anyone else does this, with the itching ?? Guest guest
I just found a new nodule on my right elbow. All of mine (2 near the elbow and one on my right lung) are on the right side of my body. I never paid attention until you mentioned it, but my nodules do itch (except the lung one...can't scratch that one). I have an appointment w/ my rheumy later this month, but he has never been concerned about my nodules. One of the lucky side effects of RA I guess. Best wishes. > > > > these knots that comes up on your knuckles ( noduals? ) , has anyone > else had the itching and burning that comes along with it ?? when they > first start to come on me, they will itch really bad. i have scratched > my hands raw, in my sleep. was just wondering if anyone else does this, > with the itching ?? > > > > BETTY > > > > PRAY FOR OUR TROOPS > > > > MAY NO SOLDIER GO UNLOVED, MAY NO SOLDIER WALK ALONE, MAY NO SOLDIER > BE FORGOTTEN, UNTIL THEY ALL COME HOME. > > > > SOLDIER'S ANGELS > > > > > > > >
