Guest guest
I am quoting someone from another group I belong to: " The healthiest people in the world get around 300mg calcium in their diet; the milk lobby is at work here with the 1200 mg daily requirement. Calcification of tissues, arteries and heart is the result, along with magnesium deficiency as the body loses magnesium trying to get rid of all the calcium. " I wonder if the calcification can occur in the veins, as well. Wouldn't too much calcium, then, contribute to ccsvi? I wonder if we're all getting too much calcium, some of us maybe drinking hard well water? My sister a died when she was 40, from MS. Dx @ 16. Now I am dx w/MS at 53. We grew up in Erie County, PA drinking VERY hard well-water. Lots of calcium deposits in cookware. Had alot of iron in it, also. Well, I'm just thinking out loud here. Think I'll go take some Magnesium. Beverly
