I actually just saw an article about a study on giving full Chemo to people with

RA. I think the mean time for return of symptoms was about 8 months. I'm sorry

if this information is wrong but if you google it you will actually find some

information about it. Good luck!!! MicheleBB

for RA for four years when I underwent chemo for breast cancer.  The chemo

knocked out all the RA symptoms. I have been unable to find out if this is

permanent or temporary.  It has been over a year.  I am so afraid the RA will

return.  Does anyone know?  Fern R

Fern,

What did your rheumatologist say about it?

When you were taking Remicade, was your RA under good control?

Hi Fern - my goodness! As if RA isn't enough - then you had to go through the

whole breast cancer thing! Praying you are cancer free. Also praying the RA has

gone away as well - wouldn't that be a double blessing? Miracles DO happen.

Best of luck to you.....

Doreen :)

RA was under control.  I could not get a straight answer from my RA doctor.  My

chemo doctor indicated I would probably have 2 or more years. I was so messed up

from the chemo at that time, I did not pursue it.  I would feel a lot better to

know what others have experienced. Maybe the doctors don't know.   Fern

I so hope you are correct and both are gone forever.  Right now I remain cancer

free and RA free.  Fern

I have tried googling, but did not find anything.  Will try again. It would seem

to be a good treatment for RA, but not if it only helps for 8 months.  Has been

over a year for me so I'm hoping.  Fern
