Tricia,

Hi! My son Tylor who is 5 years old has asthma which is sometimes complicated by the fact that his particular mito disorder affects his respiratory chain/system. If he is extremely ill and in respiratory distress that is usually the one time he has low oxygen levels. He is seen by a pulmonologist(lung doctor) for his asthma. He is currently on a regimen of albuterol (as needed), flovent(everyday) and singulair. I have really noticed a difference since starting the singulair which is a pill that is given once a day.
