Hi ..what dosage do you take? My rheumy had me on 20 mg and I had

the upset stomach too. He dropped it down to 10 mg a day and that helped a

lot. I haven't had the other side effects though but did have hair loss.

Maybe he'll decrease your dose...that will help.

I had the same problem with Arava and had to discontinue or buy stock in Hanes!

Please contact your rheumy. There is a washout procedure that can be done to get

it out of your system!

[ ] Arava - I truely do not like it

I just need write how I have been feeling for the last few days, and I am

blaming it on Arava, but am scared to stop taking it. It is making my stomach

really upset all the time, and it sure seems to be flushing out my system, which

i'm not complaining because I do want to loose some weight, but that's not all.

I am getting a burning, tingling feeling in the back of my neck and it gives me

really bad headaches, fatigue, and diziness.....and i don't like it!

I am on my way to investigating it again, and I think I will go have my

bloodwork taken tomorrow.

It shot my blood pressure up- with your headaches and dizziness and fatique you

might want to check it.  I went off of it and  and bp came back down to normal

but it did take awhile because arava stays in the system for a long time after

you stop it unless you do a washout procedure.  linda

That was one of my problems also with the arava...higher blood

pressure...a

...once I went OFF the arava...my bp went back to normal. But the

decreased dose did help with my stomach upset.

Thank you a, I will ask my doctor when I see her next because I am taking 20

mg / day, and 150 mg of voltaran.
