Guest guest
Hi , Brain fog for me is the big one that has lifted.Gone - slurred speech, blurred vision, depression, numbness in hands, leg cramps (the latter could be down to spirulina).Improved - writing, all exercises/yoga especially the legs (but they still won't take a f**$$** step), outlook on life. Lessened - numbness in feet, MS bear hug has almost gone. I think the big thing about the BBD is feeling pretty confident that you have either stopped MS in its tracks or slowed it considerably. I no longer worry about the future and figure I can cope if I don't progress. It is so good that you started the BBD. I was following your posts with interest and have noticed a huge difference in how you sound more positive about life. You must feel really pleased. I'd love to do a vegetarian version of the BBD but think too much vegetarian protein is off-limits. I do half the week vegetarian, using quinoa, eggs, nuts and brown rice for protein but then have to give in to fish for protein. Hope this helps. Keep smiling (and BBDing) Janet To: mscured@...: trekkie323@... Janet,I was wondering what other improvements you have noted since being on the BBD. For me, so far, the only thing that has consistently improved is the brain fog. If I recall you have PPMS, as I do. I was wondering what other improvements I might have to look forward to with the BBD, so again am curious what other improvements you have had since being on the BBD. Also, are you doing a meat version or a vegetarian version of the BBD.Thanks,>> > Yes, is right. Brain fog seems to be the first to lift when following the BBD.OK so I am still not walking but having my brain back full-time is kinda nice.> _________________________________________________________________ Connect to the next generation of MSN Messenger http://imagine-msn.com/messenger/launch80/default.aspx?locale=en-us & source=wlmai\ ltagline
Guest guest
Hi Jos, I attribute my improvement in brain fog to the Best Bet Diet--I had cut dairy out long ago, but when I cut gluten out is when I saw the improvement in brain fog. It took about 2-3 weeks to see the difference. I still have some brain fog, but I would say it is at least 50% improved since cutting out the gluten. I am still trying to figure out what supplements, if any, are helpful. > > >
