Sorry about your plight. Coconut oil, raw honey, lots of herbs are all

anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-microbial. Dudley is going to

suggest colloidal silver. None of these things require medical supervision

unless another allergy developes from them. I have been eating naturally

fermented foods, for the probiotics, and have gone without sinus headaches for

the last few months. Hope these suggestions help,

Hello,

I used to have sinus problems which caused intense pain in my teeth. After a

couple of months I traced it to the cat litter box that was triggering the

problem so I had to replace the standard litter box with a dome enclosed box and

moved it to another room. My husband wanted to get rid of my cat, but I refused.

We also had a tall cylindrical fan that was rotating and supposed to filter the

air and everytime we turned it on it would trigger another sinus episode. So we

got rid of the fan, it appears it trapped allergens in it and everytime it was

turned on, it wreaked havoc with my allergies.

So a childhood friend of mine who happens to be an RN and also a believer in

alternative remedies, suggested I use a neti pot as it had helped her with her

allergies. So I purchased a neti pot for about 12 dollars (nasal cleanser) and

started using it and now am spared from the painful sinus episodes. It worked

for her and it worked for me without using allopathic remedies. The solution

that you put in the pot is saline.

Anyhow, it looks like you may be beyond that and need something more.

and at this point a neti pot sounds like it may not help, but I wanted to share

my story with you in regards to sinus problems.

One herb that is supposed to be anti fungal, anti viral and anti bacterial is

called Olive leaf extract, but you may want to check with someone and do some

research on it, dont know if it would interfere with any medications she is

currently taking. Any time you take something to kill off the fungus, there will

be a " die off " time where the patient will feel sicker as the toxins are leaving

the body. I am not sure if that is the side effects she fears.

I hope she gets better soon

>

> Need some advice and this is the group I trust. My daughter has MS (diagnosed

at 15 and she is now 25). She had been suffering from a sinus infection over a

period of a few months and the doctors could not get it cleared up.

Unfortunately they had her on all kinds of antibiotics, but nothing helped and

as a last resort she ended up having to have sinus surgery 2 months ago. Well,

no wonder the antibiotics did not phase her, the infection ended up being a

fungal infection (I still don't understand why they could not tell it was a

fungal infection before the surgery, but it is too late to worry about that at

this point.)

>

> The doctor said that fungal infections are hard to get rid of the first time

and some people end up having to have a second surgery. He said this infection

was caused to her being allergic to something she breathed in from the air.

However, to shorten the story, the allergist will not allergy test her because

he is afraid it will cause her MS to flare up; even though her neurologist says

there should be no problem. Anyone else had problems like this or had a flare

due to allergy testing? We have heard not all allergist are good at treating

fungi - any thoughts on this or what we need to be asking?

>

> Sorry for the long post - but the saga continues and we are looking for

answers and help. She has been in a lot of pain in her whole body, feels

extremely tired and sleepy most of the time and suffers with major migraines

(she suffered from migraines long before the sinus problems also). She just

isn't herself and she is tired of hurting, having no energy, and not feeling

well. I know some of this may be due to her MS, but not everything is because

of her MS. That is a whole different subject matter I am sure most of you can

relate too! Also, when she bends her head down, at times clear liquid like

water pours out the side of her nose! Not sure what this is, but can't be good.

>

> Her neurologist did a MRI to check out her MS due to how she was feeling plus

it had been some time since her last MRI. The good news was her MS was fine and

not acting up and he did not see anything he felt concerned about regarding the

MS; HOWEVER, what really concerned him was the amount of infection that showed

up on the MRI. He said he would forward the MRI to her ENT that did the

surgery. Of course, her ENT is out of town until next week. Well, we don't

want to wait on the doctors. They don't seem to be helping anyways (sorry if I

sound upset!)

>

> Now that you know the background, what we are asking is, does anyone know a

natural way of getting rid of fungus in the body or has anyone gone through this

and have any suggestions. She would prefer not to take the antifungal drugs due

to the side effects. I do have her taking something to replace the good flora

that all the rounds of antibiotics have destroyed in her gut. Any suggestions

please.

ditto everything Tom just said, I was just going to write all of that

before seeing Tom's message.

thanks Tom, you saved me some typing.

I use sovereign silver by the way, it has a very small micron particle size.

I think the colloidal silver is probably a good idea. At this point, you will

want to go beyond working on just internally and try to actually get something

anti-fungal in physical contact with the infection. That said, at the same

time, she should be working to make her body inhospitable to the pathogen. I

would think the anti-Candida diet is the way to go - not easy or fun, but

hopefully not forever either. Do some research on strong herbs like oil of

oregano and black walnut tincture - you will want to be sure of the dosage and

length of use because they aren't for long-term use.

Keep us posted!

Hi,

Colloidal silver is a natural, non-toxic, broad-spectrum antibimicrobial that

consists entirely of tiny, submicroscopic particles of silver suspended in

distilled water.

CS is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, and in laboratory studies has been

shown to kill more than 600 known pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, and

fungi. Pathogens find it extremely difficult to develop resistance to CS.

CS has been called " the wonder cure that time forgot, " because it is by no means

a new developement It is sold extensively on the Internet, but is much cheaper

to make your own, which you can do for pennies an ounce.

Hi-

I love when ones come around with nasal issues, by time they leave my side they

start feeling relief.

Yes, that quick!

I have a nasal snuff that will work wonders on clearing the sinus passage,

infection, stuffed up or runny nose and I can also teach you how to make your

own:

Ingredients:Cayenne - creates circulation to let you breathe and blow through

the blockage.

Garlic - assists in healing infection.

Goldenseal - an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial.

Bayberry - helps rebuild your cells.

You can go to this address, it is the video of me demonstrating how to use the

snuff...

-I was caught by the subject line re: fungal infection.  My daughter Emmy, 32,

and whose MS is very active has yet another case of thrush.  She gets this

several times a year.  Could this be a sign of a more serious

problem/connection?

Thanks for any responses...

Hi !

What in percentages do you mix the ingredients? Equal parts? I

listened to your video. What do you recommend for people with stuffed

up noses?

Snuff only works if you can inhale it...:-)

Hi Tom-

No the snuff is awesome for someone that cant inhale. I had this young man in

his late teens suffer from serious sinus infection years of steroids,

antibiotics and nasal sprays etc. He simply couldnt get air flow through his

nose. I never seen anything this extreme.

I had him try the snuff and when you inhale I always tell others to inhale to

their tailbone. This youngman did and I never seen such a struggle, literally

when he was trying to inhale his head was shaking so hard because of the strain

trying to inhale.

We waiting 5 minutes and he could start to feel a little burn, that was a good

thing.

Had him blow his nose and repeat the snuff after 5 minutes.

This time you could here that it was going threw and when he talked you could

hear he wasn't so nasal sounding, he was getting air through his nose.

I can go on and on about this formula and the speedy healing, it amazing! And

everyone is always so much happier....

Nasal Snuff Recipe:

3 part Goldenseal

3 part Barberry

1/2 part Garlic

1/4 part Cayenne (hotter the better)

What I mean by part that can mean spoon, tablespoon, cup or wheelbarrow. So

however large or small you want to make it that is fine.

You want the herb in the finest powder if you cant get it that way simply clean

out your coffee grinder and grind that piece of machine will do the trick.

You are recommending people snort cayenne pepper ?

The nasal membranes are so sensitive that just about

anything you snort would burn, but to suggest red hot

spicy cayenne pepper seems crazy.

I hope nobody tries this !

Hi -

Yes there is a kick to it, but it wouldn't work as it does without cayenne.
