I'm curious as to the responses received on this subject. I've been switched to

injection ( .08 mls) this week vs. 20 mg ( 8 pills 2.5mgs each) per week . Has

anybody switched and was it more effective?

I switched from 20 mg pills to .09 mls injection back in November. It has

made a HUGE difference! Good luck!

I was switched due to the pills making me very sick. I love the injections I

don't have any issues with the injections and I do think they are more

effective. In fact my new Rheumy does not even prescribe the pills he like the

injections better.

Thank you for the info. I see my rhuemie in April, I think I'll ask him about

switching even though the idea of giving myself injections is scarey. Does

anyone know if mtx can cause melasma? Have a nice day.
