Guest guest
Hi Pamela I take LDN and had been having a nose around the link Dudley posted, well I'm glad I came across the advice from Dr Lawrence.... it makes sense to me... Dr. Lawrence from the UK has MS and uses LDN as his treatment. Dr. Lawrence's thoughts below...Another frustration is the repeated question: " What do I do if I need steroids? " My response to this is simple! You DO NOT need steroids!Because exacerbations are due to oxidative stress, usually associated with an infective, traumatic, or emotional event, the more suitable treatment is antioxidants - at high dosage! Apart from the basic antioxidans that we all know (zinc, copper, selenium, vit C, E, and beta carotene) there is a vast and increasing list of other antioxidants that may also be used: flavonoid OPCs; alpha lipoic acid, acety N-carnitine; phosphatidyl serine; etc, etc. Used at high dosage these are as capable as steroids in reducing the intensity and development of relapses or exacerbations without the downside and adverse effects of steroids.follow this link for the rest of the info.... http://ldn.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=links & action=display & thread=773 HTH regards McIntyre _________________________________________________________________ Get a bird’s eye view of the world with Multimap http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/115454059/direct/01/

I am also very excited about beginning a new regimen, including Resveratrol. Resveratrol is found in red grapes, red wine and is now sold also as a neutraceutical. There are many recent studies involving Resveratrol, and they are rendering some very interesting results. I recommend everyone in here to visit the web site for Resvertrol. This is not a commercial message. You will be able to see information concerning all of the studies and some results information in date order at resveratrol. com I was doing quite a bit of reading on Resveratrol last evening, including visiting a site called patientslike me. com. There was an entry there, written by one of the people who has been using Resveratrol, stating it is better to take in liquid form, swishing it around in the mouth for a minute before swallowing, with claim that in this way the Resveratrol enters the bloodstream faster/better. That's my 2009 resolution: Resveratrol & 9 servings of veggies a day! Cheers!
