Try doing some Indolplex/DIM start with one half a tablet at dinner

time and at bedtime take some TMG. If your wood comes back you know your E2 has

come down. Keep taking it but if wood stops stop the DIM you got your E2 to

low. So when the wood comes back go back on it but cut the dose in half. I use

this as a gauge to not go to low so keep doing this until you find the right

dose. Most men that start on one tablet go down so fast they miss the wood.

Also start taking some Zinc/Copper after eating in the morning this helps keep

your testis healthy and helps to keep E2 Estradiol.

http://www.myvitanet.com/zincop100cnt.html

This is the kind of test you needed.

http://www.labcorp.com/datasets/labcorp/html/chapter/mono/sr012000.htm

Try to get your Dr. to let you add HCG this helps keep you Testis working and

not get so small. I showed this to my Dr. and told him I need to try this

started on it one yr. ago and today feel the best I ever felt in the 22 yrs on

TRT. Go to this site and read TRT: A Recipe for Success and his HCG Update at

the bottom of the site.

www.allthingsmale.com

Also get some Maca this helps keep your hormones leveled and brings up libido

I buy it by the KG and take 1/2 a tsp in the morning and at lunch.

That is an excellent range to be at for that age!

Jack <rockin813@...> wrote: how old are you? was this blood work

taken while you were on your cypionate injections? as for E2...i think the test

will always use the number and gear it towards both men and women. i think u

need to specify taking E2 for men but the range will always be given for both

men and women...as does T tests.

Ok.. this is what I have.. it was an etradiol test.. My endo before he

left his practice said it was fine, but he also didnt do the male

specific (Sensitive) test, so I dont know if he's accurate or not.

Seems like a lot of docs dont have a clue. I know I'm not menopausal!!

;) I'll put down everything as listed just to be complete...

=> Estradiol 42(B) (20-75) PG/ML

(B) Estradiol expected values (Female)

New Ranges as of 4/25/00

Normal Female (PG/ML)

Mid-Follicular Phase 24-114

Peri-ovulatory 62-534

Mid-Luteal Phase 80-273

This is about the same test I get where it does not go below 20 my Dr. said

the lab told him a test like this.

http://www.labcorp.com/datasets/labcorp/html/chapter/mono/sr012000.htm

is the same but goes down to 10. So your for me on the high side I feel best

at 20 to 25 and start to have problems above 30.

Joe 10 grams should do it if not you need shots. Also keep an eye on your DHT

and Estradiol " E2 " . Both of these can go up to high on gels. The best

treatment out is at www.allthingsmale.com you can read TRT: A Recipe for Success

and the HCG update for free.

You may want to look into how much Free Testosterone he has and what

percentage of total testosterone is free. In my case, the Dr said my

testosterone was normal, but he was just looking at the total T. My free T

was borderline low, and percentage was below range. The percentage range of

free testosterone is somewhere from 0.33~0.48%. Total T means nothing.

Hi all

got his repeat test results in the mail today. His

testosterone level was now 392. The dr states that it is the normal

range of 241-827 so all is normal. His prolactin level is 6.7. Normal

is 2.1 to 17.7. These are the only tests he ran.

says he still feels about the same, low energy, no libido.

I am going to ask for a referral to the endo on Monday.

My T:E ratio was less than 3, it is now aabout 20+:1 most of the time

I self inject testostrone 125mg per week in 2 lower doses. A 25mg on

Tuesday with a DIM & a 50mg on Saturday with a 1/4 to 1/2 mg Arimidex.

Serena,

The swelling swelling, throat hurting and sores that started since

starting the AP is mostly likely an allergic reaction to antibiotics,

which is experienced by about 5% of people, mostly for penicillin.

http://www.aaaai.org/patients/publicedmat/tips/adversereactions.stm

" Most drugs can occasionally cause allergic reactions. Antibiotics

(penicillin, cephalosporins, and sulfa), anti-seizure drugs

(phenytoin) and certain medicines used in anesthesia (neuromuscular

blockers) are most common... The most severe allergic reaction is

anaphylaxis. Symptoms of anaphylaxis include a sense of warmth,

flushing, itching, hives (which can occur alone, that is, without

progression to anaphylaxis), swelling in the throat, asthma or

wheezing, light-headedness from low blood pressure, irregular heart

rhythm, nausea or vomiting, abdominal cramping or shock... Rarely,

blisters develop in association with a drug rash. This is a sign of a

serious complication, called erythema multiforme major

(-s syndrome), and should immediately be reported to

your physician. These reactions can cause the skin to peel off and

are treated like severe burns... The chances of developing an

allergic reaction may be increased if the drug is given frequently... "

To see if you have an allergic drug reaction reaction, stop taking

the drug, and see if the symptoms go away within a few days. In any

case, see your doctor without delay.

Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) is a rheumatic disease which can produce

RA-type symptoms, always with normal blood test results and

associated muscle pain. PMR is often associated with giant cell

arteritis, which produces swollen arteries and major headaches. If

these latter symptoms apply to you, see your rheumatologist immediately.

Hi Serena, Although Harold has a point about some people being allergic to

antibiotics, it is not uncommon to feel worse before you start feeling better

and that can take up to six months. You see the antibiotic is beginning to do

it's work killing off the micoplasmas that cause these diseases. These buggers

are nasty and as they die off, they emit a toxin which makes us feel sicker and

we swell and get all sorts of aches & pains and nausea and vomiting. You will

feel worse when first starting, but stick with it, don't give up and one day you

will see a big difference. But first check with your doc to make sure you are

not one of the allergic ones and even if you are, there are substitute

antibiotics you can take in place of what you are now taking. And you can always

reduce the dose to half or take it every other day. There are many ways, but

please do not give up. I was warned in advance and now I have reached

remission. Good luck, Dolores

You definitely need to get the E2 level taken to sort this out!! Do

you know what your LH, FSH and SBGH are???

What other issues, besides being tired, are you having???

I only felt relief when my T was over 1000 - near the tip top of

range. Perhaps like me, you need a little boost still.

Do you have any nighttime erections, spontaneous erections or sexual

dreaming?

Are you on or have you been on TRT??

We are here to help - just need to know much more to be more helpful.

Blessings,

Bill

Don't give up a lot of Dr.'s are not up on high E2 and don't know much about it

or how to treat it. If you have lost your libido and have ED with problems

reaching an orgasm and your nipples are hard and sore. You feel panic and don't

sleep well are hot and sweat alot. Your E2 is high get some OTC Indolplex/DIM

this brand because I know it works.

http://www.ritecare.com/prodsheets/PHY-15336.html

Take on tablet at dinner time and in less then a week you should start getting

some strong morning wood. This means your E2 is low and in the Zone keep taking

the DIM but if wood stops your going to low on your E2. So stop the DIM until

wood comes back that day go back on it but cut the dose in half. Keep doing

this untilyou find the right dose.

My E2 came back at 158 my LH and FSH are in range but close to being

out. I do not know what the meaning of SBGH is. I suffer from weight

gain, bulging eyes, tired all the time, anxiety. weight gain,

migraines, no libido. My beginning T level was 76 and once I

convinced my Endo to go to the shot I was on 200mg 1x every two weeks

but it only went to 210. Then I convinced him to do 200mg weekly. He

wanted to do 350mg 1x every two weeks. I have ED and vertigo and

ringing in my ears as well. I am about to thrown in the towel.

Me don't know much but some panic, mental fog,no more morning wood, and

so on...........I have a question though I am not on any med yet. And

my E2 is 65 what ever the unit is and at times get strong wood in the

morning and at times not so strong wood is that still possible with

low testosterone at 300 ng/dl.

Also I still get hard on when I get stimulated voluntarly or not.

Should I bring this to the next doctor. Thanx Jack

Hi Phil,

I was wondering why you tell guys to get Indolples/DIM because

you know it workd. Why did you switch to Armidex? Just wondering.

My doctor put me on that a long time ago when I complained that

my Testosterone wasn't working any more ,it helped awhile then

stopped When I heard you talk about Arimidex I went to it as you

know and I have been fine since then. I have morning erections

yet with the cialis too. I can get it up when I want to. Why

would anyone want to to to DIM in this case. I haven't had a

blood test for many weeks now and still going strong. Take.25mg

Arimides ever 9 days and that seems to keep me in the ball park.

What say ye old master? Does DIM eventually quit working?

Blessings,

Roy

As I recall you are on Nexium or some other

PPI med. These meds slow the metabolization of

of estradiol. This may account for high E2 levels.

The PPI meds cause me to be in fog. When I was on

them it got really hard to clear headed especially

in the first several hours after awaking. The elevated

E2 is telling the HPT axis to hold off on making more

T. Further, I suspect PPI meds are direct neurotoxins

over the long term.

What are you doing to get off of the PPI meds?

It seems you are at or below the threshold levels

of T for practical potency and lidido. And

are just at the final threshold of having morning wood.

Each requires a different level of T to kick in

and be fully functional. Sometimes it is hard to

tell what you are saying.
