Guest guest
Your SHBG is high this binds up your T meds so they are not working to get this down get your Estradiol levels down. You need to be at about 20 pg/ml I use Arimidex to do this if you can't get your Dr. to give you this try Indolplex/DIM get this brand and take one tablet at dinner time when your E2 comes down first thing to happen is your night time and morning wood will start up so strong it will wake you up. Keeping it down to this sweet spot you will get your sex life back. You can drive your Estradiol levels down to low so use your wood as a gage on this if you get it beck then later lose it your going down to low. So just stop it and when your wood comes back that day go back on but cut the dose in half. If you use arimidex start with .25 mgs every other day. Guest guest
I have Indoplex/DIM I'll try that first. Guest guest
Yes it's a big meal will not upset your stomach and Estradiol levels go the highest at night time. Guest guest
Having high SHBG is indicative of other imbalances which need to be ruled out ranging from staravation, liver inflammation, thyroid meds, dhea, adrenal and e2 imbalance that need to be properly invested by a good dr. Mainly high SHBG has been seen in thyroid and celiac or other hidden food allergies resulting from intestinal inflammation. > > > From: gasper.patrico <gasper.patrico@...> > > Subject: Test Results > > > > Date: Monday, October 4, 2010, 3:37 PM > > These are my test results after 12 > > weeks > > Bio-avail T 343.4 ng/dl > > albumin serum 4 g/dl > > shbg 40 nmol/L > > testosterone 715 ng/dl > > testosterone %free 1.8 > > free testosterone 12.74 ng/dl > > estradiol 47 pg/ml > > > > Any comments? Guest guest
I'll see how it goes. Kaiser is all that I can afford right now at $430/month. The coverage that I had which was much better was about $1,200/month. With pre-existing conditions it is very hard to switch until the healthcare laws kick in. As bad as they are, if the legislators start messing with them again, they will just make a bad thing worse because they have pretty much turned writing new legislation over to the insurance companies. If I don't get satisfactory treatment with what I have, then I will seek it privately. Guest guest
Hey Phil,  I called Dr. 's office today to make inquiry concerning the optimun time for blood drawing follwing application of Androgel. They will not tell me anthing until after I become a patient of record. Please advise me of the recommended draw time and the rationale. The endocrinologists whom I have seen seem to agree that two hours post application works best. My estrogen runs around thirty, Would like to get it a little lower. I was on Testolactone for many years...until the pharmaceutical company  discontinued its manufacture. Haven't found an alternative that doesn't make me sick.  Thanks,  > > > > > > > > > From: Spanky <spankysd@... > <spankysd%40gmail.com> > > > <spankysd%40gmail.com>> > > > > > > > Subject: Test Results > > > > > > < %40> > > > < %40> > > > > > > > Date: Monday, October 4, 2010, 2:12 PM > > > > > > > > > I'm 53 years old, and healthy, except > > > > > that my libido is zero for the past > > > > > couple of years. Guest guest
Here is what I know about Androgel and Testim was on it for yrs. You put it on in the morning after a shower when your dry. With Andorgel you spread it over your upper arms and shoulders and down your back as far as you can reach. I stays just under your skin feeding your bood with Testosterone upto 4 hrs. So it's best to shower don't put on the gel and do your labs. It's best to shower first so you have the old gel off your skin it they stick you were the gel was it can spike up your labs. If you can't do this put on the gel keeping it away from the spot they stick you to take your blood and do this after 6 hrs so you don't spike up your labs with the T just under your skin. With Testim do the same thing but when you put it on rub it in well with Androgel let is dry from wet. Guest guest
Is there any reason NOT to mix the various esters? The reason that I ask is that my MD has not replied to my email asking if I could split my dose and self inject weekly. Currently, he has me on 200 mg once per three weeks. I am waiting to see what happens by week three. I will probably go through my second dosing cycle, and then get some blood tests prior to deciding. But based on what I am reading, it sounds like I will probably want to be dosing myself once per week. I live on the Mexican border, so availability it not a problem. I can just pop down and inject myself while there. I have not shopped yet, but I know that Nebido is available, and probably just about every other brand. Talking to body builder friends, they seem to like the Sustanon a lot. It has a combination of four different esters with differing half lives, with the idea being that the combination makes for a more even delivery. Sustanon has been around a while, and is manufactured in Mexico by Shering-Plough. In general, any drug made there is a lot cheaper than imports from the US or Europe. Another advantage is that the Sustanon comes preloaded in a syringe, though the dose is 250 mg. I would be throwing half of it away with each dose. The Sustanon is about $8 per dose, while the Nebido is about 10 times that. So, if my MD is dosing me with cypionate, and I decide to introduce another ester into the mix, are there any particular considerations? For example, is enthanate counter indicated if you already have cypionate in your blood?
Guest guest
I just use Test C have talked to men doing Sustanon in the UK and they don't do all the great on this. I would have to say builders paved the way for us men on TRT but most of them ended up on TRT because of the steroids they were doing. I feel you try things see how they work for you and do what works best. We all are not the same what is good for you is not good for everyone. Guest guest
Grrr.... just got the reply from my internist on checking my E2. He doesn't check estrogen levels in men. Well, at least he has cooperated in giving me a choice of weekly injections of gel. Guest guest
I do tell men there are things that show your levels of Estradiol are high. 1. Sore and hard nipples. 2. No night time or morning wood. 3. ED problems and trouble reaching an orgasm. 4. Sweating all day and night. 5. Brain Fog. 6. BPH and bladder infections. 7. Panic feelins even attacks. 8. A rash on the side of your chest just down from your arm pit and on the back of your lower legs. 9. Looking Red on your upper body and face. 10. Holding a lot of water. If you get some Indolpolex/DIM this will get your Estradiol levels down it's slower then arimidex but works. http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 Anyone on TRT should try Natural Pregnenolone Cream http://www.vitaminusa.com/prbocr2ozbyl.html Co-Moderator Phil > >> > > > >> > > > From: Spanky <spankysd@... > <spankysd%40gmail.com> > >> > <spankysd%40gmail.com>> > >> > >> > > > Subject: Re: Re: > Test Results > >> > > > > < %40> > >> > < %40> > >> > >> > > > Date: Thursday, October 14, 2010, > 4:46 PM > >> > > > >> > > > Is there any reason NOT to mix the > >> > > > various esters? > >> > > > > >> > > > The reason that I ask is that my MD > has not > >> > replied to my > >> > > > email asking if I > >> > > > could split my dose and self inject > weekly. > >> > Currently, he > >> > > > has me on 200 mg > >> > > > once per three weeks. > >> > > > > >> > > > I am waiting to see what happens by > week three. Guest guest
Hi All Got my test results back yesterday. All clear for Pneumonia and lung cancers so that is a good sign. Both chest xray and blood work was good. Still getting sicker so now he is putting me on a steroid to try to knock this out. This is my MD not my rheumy. He has been great, even calling me in person. I just need some answers. If this doesnt work I am back to square one. Last night when I was brushing my teeth I noticed a purple blue tinge to my lips. Never have I seen that before. Anybody have any ideas. Thanks for all your support through this and you prayers. They are working. Wishing everyone a pain free Saturday CArol
Guest guest
Great news about your test results. Prednisone should do the trick for you. It always helps me so much with the mega doses.  I am not in the medical field, but I think Blue lips is a sign of low oxygen. Have you told your PCP about it?  Take care of yourself. I hope you feel better real soon.  Hugs,  Barbara
