Guest guest
I asked my son for one last Christmas, and I hate it. It just doesn't work for me the same way it works on TV. Guest guest
We got one from Amazon.com last year and it does a lot of work for us. I'm using rechargeable batteries to save money. The only problem I have with it is that it won't open large cans, only the same small ones. Guest guest
Industrial size? Mine won't reach that far. And it cuts just below the rim, not around the top. Guest guest
What brand is it? It must be other than the type we have. Guest guest
That's the same one we have but it won't work on large cans because of the curvature of the opener. The limit seems to be about 4 3/4 " diameter. In recent years, I've had a very hard time just using a can opener because of my right wrist, and can't even think of using it 'left-handed'. I was beginning to think we had something but it's not what we can use. Rats!
