Guest guest
Hello all I don't know about " tight muscles " but I've had very cold painful feet for many years. After a doppler study showed decreased circulation in one foot/leg my doc prescribed Trental that didn't seem to do very much. For the last few years I've taken Neurontin (100 mg 3 times a day) with good results and now Effexor XR for the same reason (not depression, but pain in legs & cold feet). So, at least with me, the cold painful feet/legs seems to be a neurological problem (peripheral neuropathy?) affecting the muscles in my legs/feet. Neurontin is generally regarded as very safe with few side effects. It can be used along with other anti-epilepsy drugs (that was it's original purpose). While a heating pad on my feet does feel good, the cold comes from " inside " and putting on extra socks, etc never did anything to keep my feet warm. I have never really thought that it may be the tight muscles that are causing the problem. Jill's doc and I always thought it was a problem with the capillaries not dilating themselves. I will bring up this idea next time Jill has a n appointment. Are there any side effects to the Botox shots? >>
