good Rheumy visit on Friday

Got in the the Rheumy Friday. This is my second visit and I must say she is

amazing. So thorough and patient and she explains everything.

> When I couldnt tolerate Sulfasalene at the beginning of the month, she said

the next step was Methotrexate, so I thought that was what I would start. Back

on the first visit, she gave me this scale of meds. with the least side effects

on on left on up to the stronger ones on the right. NSAIDS, Sulfasalezine, and

Plaquenil were on the low end, so I asked if it was because the Sulfa didnt work

that I couldt try the Plaquenil. I am not a fan of medicine. She said that she

was more then happy to try the Plaquenil if I wanted. So, I just started.

> If I dont tolerate this or it isnt effective then the methotrexate is next,

and honestly I am fine with that after talking with her and many of you. It is

nice to know I am not the only one going through all this.

> Anything you wish you had known about Plaquenil that you didnt or any advice

or personal experiences on the drug you can share (the good, the bad, and the

ugly are fine). I read the pamplet.
