Guest guest
Ohhhh Babs... my memories of when I was in Longview TX and the hot humid days just came rushing in on a hot wind! I did not like TX. Sorry to say. Too hot/humid for a webfoot. Now here we are having a cool day, some rain, but sunshine breaking through. Sorry for you hot child. Mama-Sher, age 69. IPF 3-06, OR. Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Not funny Ok y'all, this is NOT funny! I am sweltering here in Texas. It is now94 degrees and it's nearly 6:00 p.m. WHO ordered this????Nicer tomorrow, and then much cooler on Sunday, so I won't gripe onthose days.Just a warning to everyone about Texas. We don't have a Spring. Wejust go from mild winter to blazing hot summer, no stopping to smellthe flowers along the way, just a quick ride into the heated sunset.I'm hoping that the month of May will prove me wrong and be mild sothat everyone has a nice time in San . :)Keep your fingers crossed! I'm gonna cross my toes and my eyes too! :)Hugs to all!Babs in the desert that used to be Texas
Guest guest
Stop your whining....oh my, what a beautiful day....lol Compared to 30 degrees only a few days ago, I'll take this anytime. Just thinking that around here (not at my home though) it was snowing a week ago and now today it was around 90...not as hot here as where you are. First of May is typically not too overwhelmingly hot in San but guess we'll find out. Thank goodness its not planned in August. > > Ok y'all, this is NOT funny! I am sweltering here in Texas. Guest guest
Understand Babs. I watched New Mexico blow by here this afternoon. It was 84 out here in the wind & sand. Perfectly lovely day in West Texas. From what I could see of my neighbor's yard behind me, the fruit trees are beginning to bloom. That usually means it is time for it to snow again. Guest guest
Whine? Me? Without cheese??? No way!! Much, much nicer today though. We were outside the whole day and it was just a perfectly lovely day. Tomorrow even cooler so we'll be outside again. Once it hits the 90's I stay inside and don't go back out until mid October sometime. It didn't bother me when I was younger but I am a creature of comforts now.... Guest guest
....hee hee! Good ol' Texas weather! My plum tree is blooming, as are the fruit trees in town. I hope we don't have a late freeze and kill off the peaches and other tasty things growing. I hope you stayed inside and didn't inhale that dust! Hugs! Babs > > > > Ok y'all, this is NOT funny!
