I went to see my neuro and my lesions are progressing and the

betaseron isnt working so now she mentioned 2 other meds(which I cant

remember)which have huge risks and I dont know if I should do it, one

is like chemo and other has a risk for PDL which is fatal.

The second one is probably Tysabi. My daughters neuro wanted her to do tysabri.

He told us that it could kill her from the brain infection and also asked us how

we got to his office. When I said we drove there he told us we could have been

killed in a car accident and she may as well take the tysabri risk. Then he told

my daughter if she wouldn't do tysabri she should find a new dr. So I found a

holistic daughter that has my daughter on all natural supplements. Which have

done more for my daughter in months than the crab drugs or her EX neuro ever

did. She has tried all the crab meds and got worse with each one. She did LDN

but had bad reactions to that ie she didn't know us, thought people were

breaking into the house just to name a few. It would last about 4 hours. I was

told that the pharmacy may have compounded it wrong. Anyway I know its a tough

decision. Good luck to you!

All crab drugs are questionable if you want them to work. In the end they all

shut down your immunsystem, your bodies only defense, which never made sense to

me. Some folks say they work for them, which good for them, problem though, do

they cause themselves long term damage, even more devastating!? That would be my

uncle to me, he did " well " on the betaferone, but in the end it damaged his

brain so bad that he can now only move his left leg....

My husband is the one who was told he has MS, that's why I am here. He took

Avonex once and had terrible seizures - the first ones in his life! Never took

it again.

As for him he would have never taken the risk with Tysabri - thank GOD! The

other medication you talk about probably is Chemo not just like it. Chemo is

used in MS treatment, just like Interferones used to be cancer treatment at

least in Germany.

My husband turned out to be mis diagnosed on top of it, he has neuro Lyme's. In

any way whatever your health problem, change your diet (stay away from gluten,

casein, sugars,..), stay physical active as much as your body allows you, rest

when you need it, good supplementation, and good advice from this site! Listen

to your body, something NO neuro/doctor can do for you!

Good luck,

Bianca
