Guest guest
HI RHIONNON,MY NAME IS MELYNDA. I DO HAVE THAT HAPPENING TO ME BUT BCUZ OF A FALL. MY WHOLE ENTIRE HANDS & FINGERS SHAKE. IT SCARES ME. SO MY ADVICE TO U WOULD B SEEK UR PCP & C WHAT THEY SAY.THAT'S NOT NORMAL. UNLESS U HAVE HAD SOME KIND OF TRAUMA IN UR RIGHT HAND BEFORE. ASK IT WOULD NOT HURT.... GOD BLESS,~MELYNDA~ [ ] Shaky hands Hello all, I'm really freaked out! I just finished making dinner, sat down at the computer and my right hand (or more specifically, my ring finger and pinkie) started shaking! Like my fingers had a mind of their own - they were bobbing up and down violently. I can't control them! As soon as I stood up, it lessened (did not stop). If I bend my wrist the shaking starts again. I've eaten a sugar cookie, thinking it might be low blood sugar (but I'm not diabetic) - but I don't know what to do. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this an RA thing, or something else? Thanks, rhiannon ------------------------------------
Guest guest
HI rHIONNON, I Have that too. You need to contact your Dr. I started trembling so much, that I could not carry a cup of coffee to the chair in the AM. My Dr. said it was an essential tremor and gave me propranolol for it. I take the pill daily and no more shaking. Hope this helps, Gentle Hugs, Carol M. in CA Re: [ ] Shaky hands-RHIONNON555 HI RHIONNON,MY NAME IS MELYNDA. Guest guest
I, like Carol, have shaking hands also. Sometimes it was so bad that I could not handle anything with liquid in it or I would shake it out of the container. I also have been diagnosed with a essential tremor. But it does run in our family. I was given a low dose of propranolol and have very little trouble now. Check with your MD. Tom G
Guest guest
My husband and I both have shaky hands. I take a low dose of propanlol also and my husband is going to call his doctor tomorrow to get on it. He was given tons of expensive tests by his neurologist and everything tested out " normal "  so it's gets down to it being just a tremor.
