Guest guest
Do you take folic acid with your MTX? MTX is the most likely cause of you mouth ulcers--a very common side effect. Increasing your folic acid will probably help. linda From: Phyllis son <mammap@...> Subject: [ ] Mouth ulcer question Date: Thursday, February 5, 2009, 5:46 AM Has anyone experienced mouth ulcers from RA meds? I currently take MTX, Enbrel, Celebrex and Neurontin. All of a sudden, I have several little blisters on my tongue. These little boogers are sore! Guest guest
Check with your Dr. about increasing your dosage. A much larger dosage can be safely taken. linda From: Phyllis son <mammapcomcast (DOT) net> Subject: [ ] Mouth ulcer question @gro ups.com Date: Thursday, February 5, 2009, 5:46 AM Has anyone experienced mouth ulcers from RA meds? Guest guest
Hi Phyllis The ulcers can be from the meds or can be a part of the auto-immune diseases, RA, Fibro, IC etc...There is a medicine you can get from the Dr that you swish in your mouth then swallow but for the life of me I can't call the name. If you cal your Rhu you can probably just talk to the nurse and get it ordered. Its is simular to Thrush that babies get. Hope you can get em under control, you are right they hurt like H***.
