Guest guest
Hey ,I don't post very much but I read most everything. I have never been diagnosed with polymyosistis but I'm having some neurological tests run on the 25th of this month because of burning, pain and numbness in a lot of areas. Some are muscles, some aren't. So, I'm not sure if it is the same as you are describing. So far, my RA doc does not believe it is RA related, however, I'm going thru a flare and all of the above has multiplied in the symptoms category. So, I'll keep you updated. Keep us posted on what you find out!Take care, in SC From: Light <lauralight1972@...> Subject: [ ] Burning Arms, muscles in certain spots. " RA " < > Date: Sunday, March 6, 2011, 10:12 PM  Does this sound like RA to anyone? Has anyone gone through this? Or been maybe diagnosed with polymyositis? I think that's the best estimate as to a diagnosis.  Light Where There's A Will There's A Way!
Guest guest
My rhuemie has previously told me that he believed that I had neuological manifestations. He told me not to worry it would subside and it did. There are times I want to have dx for various things that occur but he told me a long time ago that it really didn't matter what label we put on them what we would do would be to treat the symptoms as they arose. Perhaps because so many of them overlap, I don't know. He's considered an expert in his field where I live so I've accepted that concept to some extent. He generally ends up being right lol.
