Guest guest
I guess that if I can get up my nerve, I will start using the Metronidazole tonight and see what happens. Wish me luck! Guest guest
Hi Sue: I have been reading all your posts, and I feel so bad that you are going through as this. I hope you find some relief soon, and that your infections clears up and goes away. You sure need a break from all this. Praying you will feel better soon. Guest guest
Thanks, Barbara. I started the Metronidazole last night, and so far, so good. Guest guest
It is obvious that my PCP was right about my recent vaginal infection, and I was wrong. I'm sorry I doubted her. I was so sure that it was a yeast infection, even though the culture indicated a strep B infection. One reason I thought that was that I could not find any information online about any symptoms suffered with a strep B infection. The articles I found just indicated that the infection was a great danger to a baby if the mother had it while giving birth. Another reason was that the symptoms were the same as those of the yeast infections I had had in the past. Besides, the infection did get better with the use of Monistat and Diflucan. But I have been using the Metronidazole cream that she prescribed, and after the last application last night, the infection is gone. I have not developed a secondary yeast infection, perhaps because I've been eating yogurt and taking acidophilus tablets. So I am not afraid of admitting that I was wrong.
