Guest guest
Thanks. I was thinking more along the lines of do you know one that you'd recommend? Â I still need to get referral. I looked at what schools they attended, and anything else that was listed. I had seen enough crappy docs that I did my best in making an educated decision. in SC Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
Oh, I definitely recommend Dr. - he's my doc now!!!!  I really respect his thoroughness, his knowledge and the amount of time he took with me.  He also listened - which I found missing in so many of the docs I've previously seen.  BTW - you can go to just about any clinic and get a referral if you don't have a regular PCP. That's what I did. Got it from the nurse practioner. From: <ltdavis_jrdavis@...> Subject: [ ] Attn in SC " RA Support Group " < > Date: Tuesday, December 14, 2010, 10:58 PM  The way I found the doc in Cola was 1st checking which docs my INS covered in about a 4 hr radius then I went to ratemds.com & vitals.com & looked at everything from how long they've practiced med in the RA field ( too young, they dont have enough real patient " exp " & too old, then they may not be up to date on new therapies- ALL my own opinion!!) Guest guest
Also I have quite a unique situation in that I am allergic to just about everything and docs that want you in & out have no use for a patient that actually requires specialized attn! Dr. listened - I mean really listened to me and the one time I didn't feel like he was giving enough of his attn to an issue I found very important, I stopped him & expressed my concern. Andhe listened- and acted on it. He explains things & makes sure you understand. Now, he has a partner, Flint I believe but I had such a bad exp with a woman at MUSC that I just went with a man. But I've heard she's great but I can't personally recommend her. Sent from my iPhone On Dec 14, 2010, at 6:20 PM, phyllis crubaugh <phylliscrubaugh@...> wrote: > Thanks.
