Have your stomach issues subsided since stopping? Mine have not.... I am

wondering if I need to do the washout.

My rheumy had me on 20 mg...then I had stomach issues, he dropped it to 10

mg a day. My hair is baby fine anyway but with the arava...yikes..it went

to baby. Now it's growing back.

I had stomach 'issues' for 14 years! Saw the Procto. guy more times than I can

count. He looked up and down me. Biopsied and bloodwork. I tried most evry RX

stomach and intestine med. I almost gave up. I was taking 16-20 Immodium just

to get out the door to take kids to school. Accidents often, etc. The new

Rheumy took my stomach history and looked at some sores on my legs and backs of

hands and said that I had Non-reactive Protein C Celiac Disease. I had been

tested for Celiac Disease and have been on a gluten free diet. The Celiac tests

were neg. and the gluten free diet helped minimally. He gave me Immuran. What

a God send to me!!! 3 tablets a day and all the sores cleared up, no more

doubled over with knifing stomach cramps, no more accidents and no more

Immodium! My first formed stools in years! Who would have thought a happy

dance about poop? Talk about prying it from my cold, dead hands! :)

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one to deserve the nickname

Charlton Heston! LOL.

Diarrhea. Chronic. Unpredictable. I have given up buying cute panties and have

taken stock in Hanes.

I had the same problem. It took months to return to normal. You will feel

better.
