Guest guest
Our news people here are really terrible. The thing people don't know about Seattle is that it looks like a huge city, but the fact is that it is really not. There's only six million people in the whole State. There's around two million in and around the Seattle area. Comparing to Los Angeles , there's twenty-million in Los Angles county alone! So the local news crews are constantly competing with each other to get the ratings. The result is we have the " National Enquirer " of news. They are constantly exaggerating everything in the clips to get people to watch. The point is, we have had a good roll of " no rain " days and we might even set a record, like fourteen whole days without rain. The News reports people are getting nervous about it, people want the rain. What? NO THEY DON'T. What people? Where? Lol ! Everyone is enjoying it, it's kinda like what it should be like - normal! And when the weather is bad, well, they report it in " biblical " dimensions - makes me laugh! Stan Seattle, Sun! P.S. They also report about things like getting cats out of trees! lol [ ] Re: RA is a sneaky devil You guys are sooo right!! When I was still working I had to organize my days off according to when I took the MTX . Â And there is always the day lag before you feel the brunt of the effects. Â I've been taking it for ten years and its gotten a little better but not much. Â But boy do I feel it if I miss a shot! Â So " you can't live with it, you can't live without it " heeeeheee MicheleBB P.S. I hope the sun is shining in Seattle Stan! Â hahaha > > > > RA is a sneaky devil, that's a good way to describe it! When I was taking the oral MTX I usual had diner, waited an hour and then took it with food on my stomach. I took it as late as possible to try to sleep off the worst of the side effects. Then I counted the next day as " hangover " day because I wasn't much good for anything. Occasionally it would do things like you say so there are weeks when you never know what to expect. > > > > Stan > > Seattle, Sun! >

Guest guest
It is really interesting how differently we all respond to medications. When I was on MTX, I felt fine after taking it, no nausea or no bad effects at all that I could feel. I don't remember how many pills I was on. My liver enzymes were always fine, too, and I had no hair loss. The only adverse side effect I had from it was a lowered white blood cell count. But I felt fine, LOL. It didn't ease my symptoms nearly as well as Enbrel does, so I was glad to move on. Sue On Jun 15, 2009, at 1:30 PM, Michele wrote: > You guys are sooo right!! Guest guest
That's the other thing they do around here, no one can pronounce them names of anything until they get a blood transfusion from a genuine Native American.
